Your New Classic FCU Chip Card Is Coming!

Don't Throw It Away!

ßaYour new Classic FCU Debit Card with chip enabled technology will be arriving soon!  This microchip on your debit card will turn your account information into a unique code when used at a chip-enabled terminal adding an additional layer of security to your transaction.

Once you have received your card, please activate it and destroy your old card.  Be sure to notify all merchants/billers with which you have established recurring transactions and provide them with your new card information.  Your PIN will remain the same, but the card itself will transfer from Visa to MasterCard.

You will see that your new card comes with both the magnetic stripe and the chip.  This means that you will be able to use it at both the new chip-enabled terminals and the older magnetic stripe-enabled terminals, which are still being used by many merchants.

Activation Notes: PIN numbers on the new cards will be staying the same as your previous cards. However, the new cards will still need to be activated. If you have a land line, your cards can be activated from your home phone number. If you do not have a land line, then you will need to take the new cards to an ATM and ask for a balance with your existing PIN number.
